Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Synergy Digital LLC, doing business as Vault 88 ("Vault 88," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit v88forge.com, make a purchase, or otherwise interact with us (together, the "Services"). Our store is powered by Shopify, which processes data on our behalf to provide the Services.

1. Information we collect

  • Order and contact information — name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and order details when you buy from us or contact support. Payment card details are processed by our payment providers (for example Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal); we never see or store your full card number.
  • Account information — email and order history if you create a customer account.
  • Marketing preferences — your email or SMS address and consent status if you join our drop list, use a discount popup, or subscribe at checkout.
  • Device and usage information — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site (including campaign parameters such as UTM tags, which we may attach to your cart and order so we know which ad or channel brought you). Collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies.
  • Reviews and messages — content you choose to send us or post, such as product reviews or contact-form messages.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide the Services: process orders and payments, arrange parcel and freight delivery, schedule freight appointments, provide assembly support, and handle returns under our Refund Policy.
  • To communicate with you: order confirmations, shipping and delivery updates, and responses to your inquiries.
  • For marketing, with your consent where required: email and SMS about drops, restocks, and offers (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by replying STOP to SMS).
  • For advertising and analytics: measuring which campaigns and creatives lead to visits and orders, improving the site, and showing you relevant ads on other platforms (see Cookies below).
  • For security and legal compliance: fraud screening on orders, enforcing our Terms of Service, and meeting tax, accounting, and legal obligations.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and local storage in the following categories:

  • Essential — required for the store to work: your cart, checkout session, and security features (set by Shopify). These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics — help us understand how the site is used, such as Shopify analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Advertising — measure ad performance and enable relevant ads on other platforms. Depending on our active campaigns these may include the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel, TikTok pixel, and Google advertising tags.
  • Marketing & preferences — remember popup choices and power our email/SMS platform (for example Klaviyo) and review platform (for example Judge.me).

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and most advertising platforms offer their own opt-outs. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where required by law. You can also opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information for targeted advertising on our Your Privacy Choices page.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that operate the Services on our behalf: Shopify (store platform and hosting), payment processors, parcel carriers and freight/LTL carriers (to deliver and schedule your order), our email/SMS platform, and our review platform.
  • Advertising and analytics partners (such as Meta, Google, and TikTok), which may collect device and usage data via the cookies described above. Under some U.S. state laws this counts as "sharing" or "targeted advertising," which you can opt out of on our Your Privacy Choices page.
  • Authorities or advisors when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

5. Retention

We keep order records as long as needed for warranty, returns, tax, and accounting obligations. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained per the settings of the relevant platform.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise any right, email legal@v88forge.com or use the Your Privacy Choices page. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Residents of the EEA/UK may also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Children

The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. Handmade metal art is not a toy — see our Terms of Service.

8. Security and international transfers

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (SSL) and Shopify's PCI-compliant payment infrastructure. Our Services are operated from the United States; if you access them from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its "Last updated" date. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
